Top Nightlife Spots in Bermuda

Bermuda is quite well known all over the world as a getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily living. Many people go there to relax and lounge in peace and quiet in the private stretches of various beaches. However, for those who crave some action at night after a day of water sports and other activities, Bermuda has something to offer as well. There are various forms of entertainment available most nights at many of the hotels. For a more casual atmosphere, there is a wide variety of bars and pubs in town as well. Here are some of the most frequented nightlife spots in Bermuda.

Coconut Rock
Named after a tree that is associated with most tropical paradise islands, the Coconut Rock is in fact a restaurant. It does, however, have two of the most popular bars in Bermuda. Enjoy a lively night in town with background music of the latest hits from the US and the UK. They also show videos of the hottest acts in the said countries. Hang out with friends and meet new ones at the Coconut Rock. The bars are open everyday from 11.30 am to 1am. Happy hour is from 5pm to 7pm from Monday to Friday.

The Ozone Nightclub and Lucky Strike Casino
There is probably nothing more exciting to do at night than to go clubbing and then do a bit of gambling on the side. You can do both at the Ozone Nightclub and Lucky Strike Casino. Located right smack in the middle of Hamilton, this nightspot boasts of special effects lighting and a very extensive music repertoire. A night of music, dancing, drinks, and gambling will surely perk up your stay in Bermuda. They are open daily from 12 noon to 3 am.

Casey’s
A bar frequented by the locals, Casey’s is the place to go if you want an authentic Bermuda experience. It is not as flashy as the other spots in town or the hotels but you will definitely get a feel of what it’s like to stay in Bermuda. The decorations by themselves will reveal to you a bit of history – complete with a well-preserved Marlin caught by the owner way back in 1982. You better come early if you want a seat on Friday nights, though, as this place can get packed. Casey’s is open from Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 10pm.

Blue Juice Disco/Bar
Tagged as the most “European” bar in Bermuda, you might want to pay Blue Juice Disco/Bar a visit if you are yearning for a taste of Europe. The decorative them is quite minimalist. The music is nothing like minimal though. With techno music playing all night long, you will not be able to help but dance to the beat. You will also get the chance to mix with the locals in this joint as it is quite popular with the residents of Hamilton. They are open from 11am to 3am from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, they’re only open from 5pm to 3am.
